ACCREDITATION

AJDS works very closely with each of our schools to ensure that all member schools have a government sanctioned operating permit and that our schools respect all requirements of the MELS. Only MELS accredited schools are eligible for membership in the Association of Jewish Day Schools.

ADVOCACY

The central vocation of AJDS  is to represent the interests of our schools in the continuously evolving political forums of Quebec. We speak with one voice for the collective good of our members regarding private sector education, English sector education rights and the protection of our minority rights as Jewish schools

OUR PARTNERS

Through long established partnerships with the agencies of Federation CJA, we can respond to the varied, individual needs of each of our schools.
BJEC, the formal and informal education arm of Federation CJA, offers workshops and training sessions in the form of professional development to administrators and teachers within our schools.
AJDS also contracts the services of OMETZ to bring psycho social supports to schools and their families.
